Cleaning up Windows 10 Junkware

Windows 10 comes with a lot of Junkware that you didn't ask for and you might not need.

Here are some sites that give simple steps to follow to get rid of those things you may not need.

Removing One Drive

This has to be, for me, the most annoying thing. It sync on the cloud all your files on the cloud almost without clear consent. And if you do not connect to One it will annoy you until you do !

Removing Other Tools

Things like solitaire, bing news, bing sports, bing finance, etc... are for me totaly useless and uses my bandwidth, CPU and memory for no reasons. Honestly, why would you give bing maps as a default map tool, seriously ! It's like giving crayola to an adult looking to do photo retouches !

 Alas, some like Edge cannot be removed.

Git Colors

Git console uses nice colors to display its messages. But depending of the console you are using, the colors may not render at all, or may display in a way that is not readable... or to your likings.
Although there are many places that talk about setting git console colors, they usually only give a subset of them and not the complete list. As of 2015, this is the most complete list I could come up with.

Add these settings to you  ~/.gitconfig file.
For windows this is located in C:\User\[login]\.gitconfig
